Long Term Disability Insurance (LTDI) is an insurance policy (not part of Social Security) that pays you, the policyholder, direct monthly benefits that replace a portion of your income if you become too sick or hurt to work.

This type of disability insurance is designed to cover serious injuries and illnesses that keep you out of work for up to six months, short term (STDI) or longer (LTDI), as well as permanent disabilities that leave you unable to return to work. These policies are available to individuals or through a company benefit plan.

Insurance companies are required to notify the Social Security Administration of LTDI claims and file for SSDI benefits.

CDGDR works with insurance companies to file for your SSDI benefits. In addition, we provide the listed complimentary financial services below to assist with the financial changes associated with SSDI.
